Since 2011, our team at Pali Bands has worked alongside artisans in Nepal and Cambodia through our parent company Noble Venture/Sandalwood Design, providing job training, employment and hope for a sustainable and independent future for individuals in at-risk communities. Our newest collection, Pali Bands, provide functionality and style as you follow the sun.

NEPAL

Nepalese artisans are the creators of our beautiful glass-beaded sunglass straps, colored by rich cultural heritage. When we first started our work with our Nepalese artisans, financial sustainability was challenging for women, families and their communities. The Nepalese artisans you support through your purchase helps to provide for their families and most importantly, offer empowerment in their communities. Through sustainable employment, these artisans have pride, prestige and hope for a future that comes with earning a livable wage, and independence. It is from Nepal that we get our name, Pali Bands.

CAMBODIA

Since 2011, the Pali Bands team has worked in Cambodia, offering job training and employment opportunities for survivors of human trafficking and those at risk. Your purchase provide sustainable jobs for artisans through our partner organization, providing hope, honor and a path toward independence. In addition to providing job opportunities for survivors and those at risk, through the sale of every handwoven wax cord product, funds are raised to help empower, equip and employ individuals with a future that is independent, sustainable and full of hope.

OUR COMMITMENT

Our team at Pali Bands gives back 10% of net profits every year to qualified non-profit partners and artisans in at-risk communities. Noble Venture is a woman-owned business, a member of the U.S. Women's Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of College Stores, and Pledge 1%.
